DAY 01           HO CHI MINH CITY - ARRIVAL             (D)

Arrive at Tan Son Nhat airport. A welcome banderole will be set up at the exit. Guests will be welcomed by young ladies in traditional clothes called “ao dai” with a garland of flowers. They board the bus to transfer to hotel while luggage is taken care by porters and transported separately to hotel.

On arrival at hotel, guests will be welcomed in a private area for check-in. The key and coupons will be distributed to them while they enjoy a welcome drink. A hospitality desk with an inner telephone line and a white board will be arranged in the lobby lounge so that the tour leader(s) could contact them and give them information

Guests will install in their rooms where 2 stamped postcards and a welcome gift are available, time at leisure.

Late afternoon cruise on Saigon River to Binh An village for a welcome gala dinner. Being a little remote from the downtown and located near the Saigon River, the village is endowed with a spacious open air and a fabulous ecologic environment. At the beginning, guests enjoy a welcome cocktail with canapes. Then a fashion show will be performed by well-known mannequins. The high light of the gala is a sumptuous buffet accompanied by country and Jazz melodies. Guests can enjoy dancing while dining

DAY 2              HO CHI MINH CITY – CAN THO            (B/L/D)

Visit the post office, which was built by Gustav Eiffel, a French famous architect, Notre Dame cathedral, built by French in the end of 19th century, War Remnant museum where guests study the atrocity and ferocity of the war that Vietnamese had suffered for years, Reunification palace, the former Norodom palace, built under the French time for the Governor of Indochina

Drive to Can Tho in the afternoon (170 km) through immense rice fields and orchards of the Mekong delta. Can Tho is the center of the Mekong delta which consists of 12 provinces. It is known as one of the most favorite place for ecotourism thanks to a various system of arroyos and canals as well as prosperous orchards and reserves

DAY 3              CAN THO – HO CHI MINH CITY            (B/L/D)

Excursion by sampan to visit Cai Rang and Phong Dien floating markets, My Khanh orchard. Lunch at My Khanh’s then transfer back toHo Chi Minh City.

Dinner at Saito. The privatized restaurant looks like an old Japanese house. Guests ring the bell. The door opens. Pretty ladies in uniform appear to welcome guests. After enjoying aperitif at the outdoor bar, guests have a special dinner in an Oriental atmosphere dining room decorated with calligraphic pictures and an ancestor altar

DAY 04           HO CHI MINH – PHAN THIET             (B/L/D)

Drive fromHo Chi Minh City to Phan Thiet. The scenic 200 km drive north on Highway N.1 passes through the bustling city ofBien Hoa before cutting through dense rubber plantations. Getting closer to Phan Thiet the terrain suddenly changes to arid semi-desert with cactus plants and strange looking dragon fruit trees. Arrive in Phan Thiet in the late morning and check into Novotel hotel. Buffet lunch is by the resort terrace looking out over the sea. The rest of day is free to relax by the pool or on the sandy beach.

The theme for dinner is “West Meets East”. At the “Fort Phan Thiet”, meet the real Wild West of the East for a night. The terrible and dangerous Novotel’s Indians are around but “Buffalo Bill Chef” will be there to make sure your whole suckling pig barbecue arrives safely by horse carriage. Dinner includes a welcome cowboy hat for every guest, aperitif cocktail, “Wild West Buffet”, country music band, rock’n roll contest and a horse and carriage.

DAY 05           PHAN THIET            (B,L,D)

Breakfast at Hotel.

In the morning, take a sightseeing tour of Phan Thiet and Mui Ne fishing village. There are great opportunities for photography. Return to the resort for lunch.

The afternoon is at leisure in the resort or on the beach. Water sports abound including parasailing, jet skiing, windsurfing or back on land the resort has a fitness centre and two tennis courts available. For golfers there is an excellent links golf course right next to the resort.

The farewell dinner theme is “Beach Wood Fire Party” and takes place on the beach lit up by bamboo torches with a backdrop of fishing boats and the sound of the waves. Enjoy dinner barefoot around a camp fire under the stars. A welcome flower garland is presented to the ladies and a welcome straw hat is presented to the men. An aperitif cocktail will be served before dinner while the hotel will invite guests to take part in a limbo dancing contest on the beach. A farewell gift of a traditional oriental marble stamp engraved with the guest’s initials is left in each hotel room during the evening.

DAY 06           PHAN THIET - HO CHI MINH – DEPARTURE  (B)

Breakfast at hotel.

The morning will be reserved for last minute shopping. Lunch at hotel. Transfer back to Ho Chi Minh City then on to Tan Son Nhat airport for onward flight while luggage is taken care of by porters and transported separately to the airport for check-in.
