Day 01 Hanoi – Arrival (D) Meet on arrival at Hanoi/Noi Bai International Airport and transfer to hotel. In the afternoon visit to the Temple of Literature, built in the 11th century as Vietnam’s first university and the Hoan Kiem Lake with the Ngoc Son Temple. Discover the old quarter of Hanoi by cyclo. Dinner at hotel. Accommodation. Day 02 Hanoi – Halong - Hanoi (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. Early morning, drive 160 km East Hanoi to Halong, sightseeing on route at a handcraft village. Arrive in Halong and board a private junk for a 4-hour cruise. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes such as Thien Cung and Dau Go. Seafood lunch on board. Drive back to Ha Noi. Dinner at local restaurant followed by a water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. Accommodation. Day 03 Hanoi – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. City tour of Hanoi: Visit Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum (closed Monday & Friday and the whole October and November) and his simple stilt house, the One-Pillar Pagoda, and the Army Museum. Lunch at a local restaurant. Transfer to the airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Transfer to hotel. Dinner at hotel. Accommodation. Day 04 Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. Pick up at hotel, drive to Cu Chi (75 km) visit an amazing complex of underground tunnels used during the Vietnam war. Return to Ho Chi Minh city and have lunch in a local restaurant. In the afternoon, we visit to the lively China town with Thien Hau pagoda, visit Historical Museum and make photo stops at the famous tourist sites such as Reunification Hall, Notre Dame Church and the Central Post Office. Dinner at local restaurant. Accommodation. Day 05 Ho Chi Minh City – Mekong Delta (B/L/D) Breakfast at hotel. Coach trip to My Tho (2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City) and visit Vinh Trang Pagoda. My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants in the Mekong Delta. It is famous for its extensive orchards and immense rice fields. Enjoy a boat ride on the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island, with lunch en route. In the afternoon drive back to Ho Chi Minh City. Rest of day free at leisure Continue with a visit to a snake farm and then drive back Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner at hotel. Accommodation. Day 06 Ho Chi Minh City – Departure (B) Breakfast at hotel. Leisure time until tranfer to Ho Chi Minh City / Tan Son Nhat International Airport for departure. *End of services*
