Full day City tour in Hanoi (with lunch) – VN6017

Cyclo tour in the afternoon followed by a visit to the Old quarter of Hanoi and Ngoc Son Temple.

Drop off at Thang Long theatre for water puppet show, the unique Vietnamese traditional art. This art originates from rural festivals in Vietnam. The artists-men and women-stand waist-deep in the water to manipulate the puppets, making them move about, talk and laugh and even dance on the surface of the water.

Early morning drive 160 km East Hanoi to Halong, sightseeing on route. Arrive in Halong and board a

private junk for a 4-hour cruise. Discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage Area of outstanding

natural beauty. “Dragon descending to the sea“ as it is known in Vietnamese, picturesque Halong Bay

has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing

beautiful grottoes such as Thien Cung and Dau Go. Seafood lunch on board.

Drive back to Ha Noi.

Half day cooking at Seasons Restaurant – VN6016

Arrive at Seasons and receive a coffee and “orientation talk of morning activities”. Depart for the market (Hang Da) accompanied by the Seasons chef. Return to Seasons to begin the lunch prepare.

The menu is composed by fresh Hue style spring rolls, shrimp paste on sugar cane, fish baked in a clay pot and banana flower salad. You will get involved in preparation of all of the above.

Coffee break. The chefs are now executing the final preparation giving you time to reflect about the morning activities and quiz the restaurant manager about “life at a Vietnamese restaurant”.
