Coach trip to My Tho, 2-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City.  My Tho is a prosperous town of 170,000 inhabitants  of the  Mekong  Delta. It  is noted  for its exuberant orchards and immense rice fields.  Enjoy  the boat ride on  the Mekong River and visit an orchard on an island. Stop at the Vinh Trang Pagoda. Lunch en route. Continue the visits with a snake farm and then drive back to Ho Chi Minh City.

Coach trip to Cai Be, 2.5-hour drive from Ho Chi Minh City, take a boat trip along the Mekong River to view the daily life of local people who work and play on the waterways of the Mekong Delta. The trip includes a visit to the unique floating market at Cai Be, and to a family-run business producing rice paper and corn flakes of Vietnamese style - a key ingredient in Vietnamese cuisine. Lunch takes place in a local house set amongst fruit orchards and bonsai trees. A performance of traditional Vietnamese music accompanies the meal. Return to Ho Chi Minh City in late afternoon.

Half day cooking class (with lunch) – VN6024

The chef and our guide will escort you on cyclo ride from your hotel through busy streets of Ho Chi Minh City to the Central Market. You would learn how to choose good and fresh ingredients. Transfer  by car to the Cookery Center, located in a charming and authentic Vietnamese garden. Each person is provided with their own kitchen corner including utensils, cooking ingrediens and workspace. A professional MC will entertain the guest by explaining instructions of the chef and briefing on origination and culture of Vietnamese cuisine. You will learn how cook  some specialties of Vietnam, how to use variety of herbs and prepare different sauces. Once you have completed the course you will have mastered the use of chopsticks and learnt the etiquette of a Vietnamese meal. You will enjoy your own cook and receive a certificate of participation at the end of the course.

0800   Leave hotel and cyclo ride to the market then reach the Cookery Center

930-1000  Welcome drink

1000-1100 Start practicing with spring rolls and green papaya salad

1100-1130  Taste your product 

1130-1300 Continue preparing steamed rice, pork in clay pot and sour clam soup

Dinner Cruise on Board the Bonsai. “NEW” – VNVN6037    

 

“Bonsai I” is the biggest existing dragon boats in Vietnam and is a replica of a Royal Vietnamese style dragon boat dating back from the 19th century. The wooden dining and meeting platform can carry up to 170 passengers next to its 50 piece-crew and weights over 340 tons. The three decks are occupied by 3 stylish bars (Cocktail Lounge, VIP-Cigar Bar, Village Bar), the large buffet and dining deck, live cooking stations, show stage, wheel house, toilets, cabins and a fully operated kitchen. The daily cruises lead along Saigon’s modern skyline to the outskirts of the city and back.

Full day Beach trip to Long Hai (with lunch) “NEW” – VN6030  

Breakfast at the hotel.

Transfer to the Ho Chi Minh City Pier to board a speedboat that will take you along the Saigon River to Vung Tau. It takes about one hour and twenty minutes to get to this beach resort only 120 km away from the city. Upon arrival transfer to the Anoasis Resort in Long Hai, a small town and fishing center and a peaceful seaside site along a natural unspoilt coast. Have some free time to enjoy the hotel facilities.

Drive back to Ho Chi Minh City in the late afternoon.
