NITA-0806: VIETNAM’S WORLD HERITAGES

The discovery of Vietnam’s marvelous world heritage sites will amaze visitors wherever they are, from the peaceable city of Hanoi, the natural wonders of Halong Bay to the Citadel of Hue, the ancient town of Hoi An and the holy land of My Son. We would love to explore Vietnam’s most attracted heritages within a limited time.

Day 1: Arrival in Hanoi (D)
Arrive at Noi Bai Airport. Pick up and transfer to a hotel. An afternoon sightseeing tour features  the Temple of Literature, the Ethnology Museum, an old quarters pedicab ride (1 hour). Evening water puppet show.  O/N in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi –Halong -Cat Ba Island (B, L, D)
Depart for Halong. On arrival, board a private boat for a cruise (4 hours). Explore Halong Bay’s magic caves and limestone formations. Lunch of fresh seafood on boat. The cruise ends at Cat Ba Island around sunset, a spectacular view in Lan Ha Bay. O/N on Cat Ba Island.

Day 3: Cat Ba – Hanoi (B, L, D)
Morning explore the World Biology Reserve of Cat Ba Forest. In the afternoon, return to Hanoi. Dinner then take the night train to Quang Binh. O/N on train.

Day 4: Quang Binh – Phong Nha Natural Heritage (B, L, D)
Visit the World Heritage of Phong Nha cave, boat cruise on the Son river to explore the magnificent beauty of the cave. Rest of the day free at leisure at the Nhat Le beach.

Day 5:Quang Binh – Hue (B, L, D)
Early morning transfer to Hue. Upon arrival in Hue, visit the Ancient Citadel. Hotel check in. Take a boat cruise on Huong (Perfume) River with stops at Thien Mu pagoda, Hon Chen Temple and Emperor Minh Mang’s tomb. Enjoy Royal Music on dreamlike Huong River. Overnight in Hue.

Day 6: Hue – Danang – Hoi An (B, L, D)
A morning sightseeing to Khai Dinh Tomb. Onward to Danang, pay a visit to the Cham Sculpture Museum, which boasts the finest collection of Cham sandstone sculptures in the world. Transfer to Hoi An. Enjoy Hoi An legendary night. O/N in Hoi An.

Day 7: Excursion to My Son (B, L, D)
Enjoy a day trip to explore two World Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in 1999. First, travel over rural roads to My Son with Cham architectural treasures and sculptures. Then back Hoi An for a walk around the centuries-old city with ancient houses, temples, markets and handicraft workshops. O/N in Hoi An.

Day 8: Departure from Danang (B)
Spend last minutes for downtown shopping (stone-carvings, silk, paintings,…) or at leisure before check-out. Transfer to the airport for departure.
